This year, the Croatian national handball team won a silver medal at the European Championships and a high second place among 24 European national teams. This year, the 14th edition of the Championship was organized for the first time in three countries: Sweden, Austria, and Norway in the period from 9th to 26th of January 2020.

The analysis prepared by the Mediahint Agency included 9 television broadcasts of the matches, accompanying shows from the study related to media announcements, and posts on social networks that show the appearance of sponsors. This year’s sponsors of the Croatian Handball Federation were: HEP, INA, HPB, Lidl, Tele2, Croatian Post, Croatian National Tourist Board, Janaf, Joma, VW, Arriva, Bauerfeind, GAZ, the City of Poreč, Mediahint, Molten, Uniline, and Valamar.

According to Google Trends, this year the term handball in Croatia was searched most often during the championship, mostly in Varaždin county. According to interesting searches and related inquiries, the finals of the handball championship are most in-demand, as well as individual matches that were played by the Croatian national team.
